Janey Godley

Everyone at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival is very sad to hear of the passing of Janey Godley.

Janey was a pioneer for Scottish comedy and was extremely supportive of her fellow comedians within the industry as well as the festival.

She was the inaugural winner of the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award at the 2023 Glasgow International Comedy Festival and will be greatly missed.
