Scottish Poetry Slam Finals

The final competition to decide who is champion slam poet for Scotland, 2023. All the winners of poetry slams throughout the country over the past year are invited to vie for the title, scoop the prize money and win the right to represent Scotland at The World Series in Paris (and at The Euro Slam Championships). All kinds of poets will take to the stage this afternoon, ranters, rhymers, ravers and rhapsodists. Come along and cheer on your favourites – or, if you’d like to take part, there will also be a Wild Card round for eight poets before the main competition begins.
