Big Show Drop for 2025 Festival

We are very excited to reveal our first big show drop for the 2025 Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

This is the first of three big show drops. The next one being on Monday 28th October and then again on Monday 2nd December.

Susie McCabe, Jimeoin, Russell Kane and The Horne Section’s Hit Show are amongst the big headliners that have already been announced. We can now also reveal an array of incredible shows at a variety of great Glasgow venues.

MC Hammersmith is back at GICF once again after selling-out his previous festival shows. He is bringing an evening of improvised comedy raps based on your suggestions at the Stand Comedy Club.

Scottish finalist for the BBC New Comedy Awards 2023, Dean T. Beirne is doing his debut show at Van Winkle West End.

After appearing on Comic Relief and racking up millions of views for his ‘Street Jokes’, Darren Walsh is bringing his pun show to Drygate Peaks Bar.

If you like one-liners, the ABC of One-Liner Jokes is doing two nights at The Laughter Lounge @ Tennent’s Bar at the start of the festival.

Iain Anderson tells his tragic yet hilarious true story about overcoming demons and finding the real meaning of what it takes to be happy at The Griffin.

After selling out at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Kate-Lois Elliott brings her debut hour to Glasgow.

“Dadology” is Graeme Rayner’s debut one-hour show at Van Winkle West End, and includes everything they’re not telling you about being a dad.

Peter Wood also returns to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, this time appearing at Blackfriars.

If you like the relaxed nature of work in progresses, you won’t be short of options. Welshman Stuart Thomas, Ross Leslie, Elaine Fellows, Danny Vostok and David Callaghan are all performing work in progresses as part of the festival.

And if you like mixed bill comedy, so you can get a taste of a variety of different acts Good Egg Comedy Productions have a variety of great shows at Van Winkle West End including parent and baby shows, Friday and Saturday night shows, comedy Sunday brunches and nights where comedians try out new material.
