Glasgow Comedy Festival

MEET THE BLUNDABUS! Bob Slayer’s award winning venue on wheels rolls into Glasgow in June!

Bob Slayer’s award-winning BlundaBus is a double-decker venue full of creativity and joy that can pop-up anywhere.

After a hugely successful weekend in Merchant City as part of the 2016 Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF), the BlundaBus is looking for a home for GICF 2017.

It will be rolling in to town on Sunday 5 & Monday 6 June to give you a taste of how the Blundabus could bring its particular blend of comedy, storytelling, song and shows for all the family to your venue.

On Sunday 5 June the BlundaBus will be at Firebird on Argyle Street between 4pm – 5pm. Grab a slice of woodfired pizza while Bob fills you in on some of the BlundaBus’s recent adventures. If a weekday is more convenient, the BlundaBus will also be popping up on Monday 6 June at the High Street car park, right next to the train station, between 2pm – 3pm.

ABOUT THE BLUNDABUS

The BlundaBus is an award-winning pop-up comedy venue and bar on a converted double decker bus.
On 4th July 2015 (Independence Day) Bob Slayer took delivery of an ex-London bus. He has converted it into a 45 capacity venue on the top deck and a bar in the saloon below… it has become the BlundaBus.  It appears at Fringe, Festivals, comedy festivals, music festivals, breweries, your house… anywhere it’s invited!

WHO IS YOUR DRIVER?

BOB SLAYER is an award-winning comedian, storyteller and maverick Fringe promoter.  Bob started life as a jockey but multiple injuries and increasing weight caused him to retire from the saddle. He became a rock and roll tour manager who The NME described as: "Wilder than the acts he looked after" (Snoop Dogg, Bloodhound Gang, Electric Eel Shock).  In 2008 he swapped back stage for performing appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has toured the world performing in comedy clubs, festivals, breweries etc ever since, but all he ever wanted to be was a bus driver!
