Scot Squad's Grado to do a second night at this year's festival!

 

The Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF) recently revealed its 2016 programme, and we’re delighted to announce that some of our comedy super-stars have added additional nights to their March shows!

 

Adam Hills

 

King's Theatre, Sunday 20th & Monday 21st March, 7.30pm

 

 

Widely referred to as 'the nicest man in comedy', Australian born Adam Hills and host of Channel 4’s groundbreaking The Last Leg has fast become one of the most popular comedians in the UK, with 15 solo shows that have toured internationally, and we’re delighted to announce that he’s now doing 2 nights at GICF 2016!

Grado 

 

King's Theatre, Thursday 17th March @ 7.30pm & Friday 18th March @ 7.15pm 

 

The star of Scot SquadRiver City, wrestler, comedian, actor and man-of-the-moment, Grado has added a second night to his GICF show! Join Grado as he takes you through his life from his home town of Stevenston to the bright lights of Orlando, from wrestling fanboy to soap star and actor. A hilarious night of tell-it-all tales and trash talking.

In addition to our very own home-grown talent GICF is also delighted to hosting some of the best comedy stars from across the pond, with the likes of Greg ProopsJena Friedman and Rob Delaney making an appearance.

 

 

Greg Proops

 

Citizens Theatre, Saturday 19th March, 8pm

 

 

An award-seeking stand-up, Greg Proops' new show will include bitterness, drinking and tears. Then he hits the stage for a go at politics, sexism and his own male privilege... Get your tickets here

 

 

Jena Friedman 

 

Saint Luke's, Saturday 19th March, 8.30pm 

 

 

Jena Friedman has worked as a field producer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and has written for Late Show with David Letterman.  

Her work has been featured in New York Magazine, Vice, Newsweek, Glamour, Time, The Wall Street Journal, Salon, Gawker and on CBS, MSNBC and Comedy Central.

Rob Delaney

Star of the hit Channel 4 comedy 'Catastrophe' Rob Delaney brings his critically acclaimed Meat tour to venues nationwide. Widely regarded as one of America's most gifted stand-ups, Delaney has also appeared on Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, The Graham Norton Show, Alan Carr: Chatty Man, Bad Robots and Would I Lie To You? As well as Jimmy Kimmel Live! and CONAN in the US.
